When Daily Mail kicked off MAFS Unleashed, the team was working from a plain office setup that lacked the energy, branding, and visual identity needed for an entertainment-led interview series. The goal was to build a studio space that felt recognisable, polished, and production-ready, something that would instantly set the mood as soon as guests walked in. The sign was needed to help establish a clear visual identity for MAFS Unleashed as its own mini-brand, rather than simply relying on the broader Daily Mail identity. It also needed to work practically within the space, including on a soundproof wall that could not be drilled into, while remaining easy to remove and rehang for other productions using the room.

  • Flexible Hanging Solution: Because the wall was soundproof and could not be drilled into, the sign was installed using a chain-based hanging method that allowed the team to achieve the look they wanted without compromising the space.

  • Easy Removal & Reuse: The lightweight design made the sign simple to unhook and rehang, giving the Daily Mail team flexibility to use the studio for other productions and then quickly reset it for MAFS Unleashed.

  • Fast Turnaround: Once the design was locked in, the sign was produced and delivered quickly, helping the team get the studio up and running with minimal delay.

The final result was a custom sign that not only looked strong on set, but also helped shape the entire studio around it, from lighting and furniture choices through to camera framing and production setup.
